Has it really been seven months since I wrote and published a blog post? I’m embarrassed to say that it’s true. You may wonder what happened, but the good news is that nothing bad occurred to cause my absence from this site. To say I have been busy may sound like the kind of excuse we’ve all heard before. Believe me, though,  in this instance, it truly is an understatement.

Since my last post, I have released my latest novel, the award-winning thriller, ABSOLUTE REVENGE, as an audiobook, and returned to Italy, this time with my eighteen-year-old twin granddaughters. As you might expect, the trip was the experience of a lifetime.

The month after we returned, I began to write another book, this one about two weeks in Italy with these teenagers. I just completed the first couple of drafts and sent it to my editor. After she returns it to me with her comments, remarks, and suggestions, the revising and rewriting process begins, after which I’ll send it back once more for the final proofread.

I’m hoping for a spring release, and after that, I intend to record the audiobook version for a release later in the year. So stay tuned for more updates!

“Many a trip continues long after movement in time and space have ceased.”

– John Steinbeck

Here are some photos not only from the trip with the girls, but also from my earlier spring trip with Richard. Enjoy these memories from different locations in Italia, and I’m guessing you’ll recognize many of them. They may even trigger memories of your own travels to beautiful Italy.
