Wouldn’t you love to wake up to a view like this? I would too, and I dream of the day I can go back to bella Italia and experience il dolce far niente, the sweetness of doing nothing, in a setting like this one in Tuscany.
Will you make plans to travel to Italy again?
Please leave a comment as I’m interested in your perspective.

My heart is in Italy, but my pocket book is bare. I saw these types of views when I was in Tuscany in 2008. The cypress’s there were amazing! I long for the day I can return. I have hopes of one day living a few months in Italy to learn the language, in depth culture, make friends there. My dream is to live there 3 months out of the year if I can ever afford it. La Dolce Vita for sure.

Thank you Claire…it may seem a distant dream now, but never lose sight of those dreams. I hope all of us who love Italy can return one day

Italy manages to add style to every setting. What a lovely rural view. A place after my own heart.

So glad you like it, Bonnie. Thanks for stopping by

Thank you, Margie. This looks like the view I had from my hotel room in Pienza. I can hardly wait to go to Italy again. My heart is there.

Yes Dolly…so many of us are yearning to return. Stay safe

I will definitely go back to Italy. I have friends and relatives there, and I love it. This will pass, one way or another, and I won’t think of Italy, or any other place, as off-limits due to the virus. This country will end up with much worse numbers than most of Europe, because of our poor response. The shoe may be on the other foot – international travel to the US may drop because of OUR infection rates.

Yes Paula…the future is uncertain but not forever. We need to keep our dreams alive and the day will arrive when we can return
