Thank you so much, Anne…Venice looks like it’s all canals but behind them and alongside them are narrow passageways…The first time I saw them I was amazed

The days were very misty and cloudy when we were in Venice. It made it all the more spectacular. Another great memory was sharing a gondola with another couple and watching the gondolier fall into the water. Seeing him trying to salvage his cell phone was a priceless memory and his bruised ego was hysterical. Venice should be experienced at least once in everyone’s lifetime. Thanks for sharing the spectacular photos.

Yes! I have been to Venice & loved my visit. This is truly one of the most unique spots in the world. I cannot wait to return. Thank you for sharing your photos, Margie. As always, your posts are such a treat!

I appreciate that Victoria and am glad you have had the chance to visit this special place too.

  3. Florence

Venice is a place that if you ever have just one opportunity to see once, then you must.
It felt it was truly a world unto its own. Since its on water, the acoustics are remarkable. Wandering on the little cobblestone streets that are dimly lit by old lanterns, I could hear not only the sound of my feet moving along, but the sounds of others voices and laughter floating through the night air.

That is such an interesting observation, Florence, about the acoustics since Venice is on water…Thank you
