How many ways can I say thank you from my heart and express my gratitude to you? This blog is primarily a travel blog, concentrated on Italy and all things Italian. I know occasionally I write about other things and I feel that this is one of those times when I feel compelled to say grazie mille to all of you.
I’d like to thank everyone who has bought and read my latest book and my first novel, Critical Cover-Up. Since Critical Cover-Up was released six weeks ago over fifty books have been purchased. I’m frankly overwhelmed by the tremendous response and feel grateful. And I especially appreciate all of you who have left a review. For an author, reviews are so important, particularly soon after a new book is released.
What readers are saying about Critical Cover-Up:
“Critical Cover-Up is one of those books that you can’t put down—and when you do you can’t stop thinking about the characters wondering what they’ll do next. And when the story ends you’re hungry for more. I can’t wait for the next book!”
“This novel reels you in and keeps you turning pages -with intrigue, mystery and anecdotes drawing a person further into the story with surprising twists and turns that synchronize the multiple plots within this EXCELLENT read!”
“There is action in every chapter and the characters are well drawn. I recommend Critical Cover-Up to all.”
“I could not put this book down. The who done it plot and the hospital issues sub plot kept me involved. This book will appeal to many of us, especially those working in the field of medicine.”
“The characters are vivid and come alive as the story sucks you in. It is a story for our times giving a look into the power of social media and a scary but candid look at our healthcare system. At the same time the plot twists keep you guessing.”
“I could not put the book down! As a fellow Critical Care Nurse, I found the characters, setting, situations, and intrigue very believable. However, you do not need to have medical background to become immediately immersed in the story line.”
“The author’s knowledge of the medical field is obvious in this fast-paced, exciting drama, and anyone wondering what goes on behind the scenes in hospitals will find Critical Cover-up fascinating. Miklas’ imaginative storyline is gripping and unpredictable.“
Critical Cover-Up is available on Amazon and all bookstores in both paperback and Kindle format.

Thank you again for all your support and encouragement, and based on the feedback and questions I’m getting, I think it’s safe to assume that another book is in the works. You haven’t seen the last of Allison Jamison.
I’m open to any ideas about a sequel. Leave a comment or send me an email: margieeee@comcast.net
Oh and one more thing. I haven’t stopped writing about travel to Italy…A book about my love affair with the Amalfi Coast is already in development.

Congrats on your book Margie! It sounds very intriguing! Especially since my mom just retired from nearly 40 years in nursing. I would love to read it!
