Italy has so much to offer and there are many places that I would always want to return. Venice is one. Sicily is another and the Amalfi Coast is another, just to name three. I have thoroughly been taken by the charm of the Costiera Amalfitana, for its physical beauty and its small towns built into the cliffs, as well as the people. Probably the fact that it is a coast and water is here is another reason it is my favorite. Enjoy some photos from this gorgeous coastline and its towns and people.

I visited the amalfi coast in September 2007? Absolutely spectacular. Everything was wonderful but I did not care for Capri. I would love to go back someday.

I love the Amalfi Coast and Capri!!! It’s been more than ten years now, though, since I visited. Beautiful pictures. I love it! Can’t wait to check out more of your site. 🙂

I love this area too. I lived there many years ago and my son was born in Sorrento. I return often. It is breattakingnly beautiful.

Love the photos, Margie! I can’t help it; I always think of the movie “Under the Tuscan Sun” (a VERY loose adaptation of the book) and the scene of the drive along the Amalfi coast to Positano. Sigh, that’s romantic enough for me, having never been to that apparently beautiful area of Italy.
