Interviewed by Bex Hall

I recently had the honor of being interviewed by Bex Hall, author of the award-winning website and blog, Leaving Cairo. You can read the interview here.

I can’t believe that I am leaving for Italy in five weeks but am excited about it, and especially that I am going to be in Sicily for ten days. Hoping to see some other parts of Sicily as well as visiting with Teresa and Angela and their brother Calogero. I am going again with my brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Monica, and it may be a little different since Rick is recovering from a bike accident, in which he suffered some broken bones. He assures me he will be ready for Italy. Let’s hope!

I have been told not to miss Agrigento and Siracusa so those are definite stops. I also want to hit the fresh market in Catania this time, I hear it is huge! Stay tuned as I will be posting photos and updates from Italy while I am there.

I too am looking forward to your next trip. I enjoy traveling from my armchair. I read the Bex interview and liked it too. I think that the reason you were so successful with your Italian trips is the same reason you are successful in all your endeavors. You do not prejudge situations. No ice? OK, I will give it a try. No dryers? OK, where can I drape my unmentionables to dry. You just soldier on and have a good time wherever you are. It is a most enjoyable facet of your personality.

I'm always interested in your thoughts, so please leave a comment.
