I have been hearing about this train for some time and found this interesting article written by a writer I know. Check it out. I was considering taking it from Naples to Rome but the station it goes to in Rome is Tibertina which is in the northeast corner of the city, so it is not convenient really, although there are transfers from there. There is also a fast train from Salerno to Rome’s Termini station and that will likely be more practical.
