Book Signing Event in Ft Pierce

I enjoyed today because I participated in another event with the Treasure Coast Writers Guild and this one was at the very busy Fort Pierce Farmers Market. The day could not have been any better with the weather cooperating – temps were in the 60’s and warmed up to the 70’s with blue sky and not a hint of rain.

Eight of us participated and everyone sold books today; the least amount anyone sold was five, and I was fortunate enough to have sold nine. I was thrilled and totally enjoyed meeting people who were interested enough to buy my book. I actually met four people who were from Italy, and I practiced some of my Italian today!

I liked the energy of the crowd and the different vendors, live music and being so near the water. It was also great being with other authors, as I learned things from them. The group is wonderful and I am grateful to be a member.

I will be participating in these book signing events on a regular basis, since the Treasure Coast Writers Guild participates in four different venues every week. Depending on my work schedule and the number of other members participating I hope to be involved three or four times a month. It is a great opportunity to have some fun and sell some books at the same time.
