Cinque Terre doesn’t need words to describe it as the photos say it all. It is a beautiful place in Italy. I took these photos on May 10, 2012 in Vernazza, which suffered the most damage from the October 25 floods and mudslides. The people there are working hard to restore their beautiful village.

Such history in a place like this. I am glad they are repairing where possible and not starting over. As long as the framework is solid, keep it going. The old designs were done by masters and made to last through centuries. Even without an art degree one can appreciate beauty.
