I finally have completed my itinerary for my Italy adventure, and probably could now meet the criteria to be a travel agent. I am spending my last week divided between the Italian Alps and the Italian Riviera. Never having been to either area, except a day in Portofino and Santa Margherita on a cruise, spending time in these two places is very appealing to me, especially in June.
I have to thank my Sicilian friend Angela again for her recommendations, and I will be staying in the ski village of Courmayeur next to the French border. Courmayeur is considered to be the highest town in Italy, located at the foot of Mont Blanc, western Europe’s highest peak at 15,782 feet. The mountains surround this town, and I understand that there is a gondola ride that takes you across to France at 12,000 feet. I don’t know if I will be up for that. “Vediamo.” We’ll see.
Then the other part of the week will be at sea level in the seaside resort town of San Remo, within a train ride from the shores of Nice and the country of Monaco. I may as well see these places while I am there, I am thinking. Less than two weeks now…I have started to pack!

I’d hire you! Sounds like you’ll have a full and enjoyable trip.

Italy sounds better and better, especially to Don. We could plan our trip just chasing behind Margie since she has made all the hard decisions already.
